After the year 2009 which has seen major set-backs and a year of downturn, now IT big giants are set to change the whole dynamics. Big IT companies are set to go hiring spree and expected to bring on board nearly one lakh people in the coming months. So, time to forget the year of hiring freeze and layoffs. Analysts say that headcount in the IT industry is expected to go up by more than 100,000.
As per announcements, software giant TCS would increase manpower by 30,000 and Infosys plans to hire 16,000 people this year. BPO Genpact is expected to hire 10,000, IBM to hire 5,000, Infosys BPO 2,000, Accenture 8,000 and Mphasis to hire 2,000.
